I bought a big load of them for cheap because the threads on the tops were weaky. I've fixed the threads by gluing the top on and I can still sell them for cheap.  Carefully clean the threads with PVC cleaner, let it dry then glue with All Purpose Cement for PVC, ABS, CPVC and let it dry overnight.
