| Hi All,
I have been asked by several of the people to report on the performance of
my Balloon Bouy NR.
Well, the first time I used it was in a casual line (not constant) for 3
hours. It started to run slow and heat up at the end of the night. The next
few times I used it was in party situations for about 20 kids and it was
fine. Very quiet and no problems. But I finally put it to the ultimate test
and needed it for a steady line. After 1 hour and 45 minutes the battery
was running out and the compressor was HOT. I had to resort to mouth power
and my friend who also had one had to use a hand pump for her remaining 10
minutes as well. I don't think changing the battery (if I had had one on
me) would have been a good idea because the compressor was so hot. I now
have a spare and I will try that next time but you can bet that I will have
my Magiloon in my trunk for backup and to give the NR time to cool down.
I would recommend it for restaurant workers who don't need to go as fast
as a steady line because the sound is so low you can't even hear it in most
cases. I might even get a second one to trade off so the first one can cool.
The battery charges in about 15 minutes after the initial one.
Sorry to be so long winded but I thought it was important.
