Clowns generally get their makeup the way they want and stick with it. Getting them to try something different is a hard sell. Leon says, "Once they try ProFace, it sells itself." |

| So, what's so great about this stuff? Well, it
goes on easy, stays on and looking good all day, even when it's hot or cold,
and it leaves your face feeling refreshed, not dry and flaky. The colors
are very opaque. The White Setting Powder matches the intensity of the Clown
White. Once your white is on and powdered the Red and Black can go on without
any bleed through. The Neutral Setting Powder goes on over that. The Makeup
Remover is full of moisturizers and skin care products. Leon says ladies
have been buying it for everyday use. There's even a "No-Sweat" pre-makeup
liquid that helps retard perspiration.
Don't just take Leon's word for it. Maybe you've met Marcela "Mama Clown" Murad, Earl "Mr. Clown" Chaney or Don "Homer" Burda. Ask them. If these guys say this is the stuff to use, I believe them |

POWDER THE CLOWNFrom watching clowns I would say the single most important technical part of grease paint is powder. I've seen lines of clowns standing in clouds of baby powder. Put baby powder in a sock and tie a knot. With your face on, tip your head up, close your eyes, hold your breath and dust a generous cloud of powder from the sock down onto your face. The powder seems to dry and set the grease paint.
The clowns seem to put too much on then lightly brush off the
excess.
