Hot Rod - DVD ComboBy manipulating a Hot Rod you can show six different colored spots on both sides of the rod. Have them choose a number from 1 to 6. Determine which color corresponds to the number. And all the colored spots turn into the chosen color. It is a classic and easy trick. |

| The magician on the DVD is very good at demonstrating
and explaining the use of the Hot Rod. This effect is based on the paddle
move and an easy force. It's not something you would repeat right away but
once you are comfortable with the paddle move (don't feel rushed) it is very
effective. The DVD gives you a variety of ways to effect the paddle move,
some patter (I like the eye doctor story), a Routine, a Switch, and a Vanish.
I like this DVD. It's very good.

Color Changing Magic Wands
This is really a Hot Rod in the shape of a wand. Both sizes have 6 shiny colors on one side and a magic wand, black with silver tips on the other. You can do the Hot Rod routine with this wand but I think is more useful as the magical color source for a magic coloring book. With the coloring book, you don't need to force a color, they are all used. This wand comes with written instructions that include a coloring book routine. |

"Hot Rod" Magic Pen6174( ) - Choose Red (RE) or Blue (BL) - $4.50 It's a real ball point pen. You've got a good reason to carry it around. Point out the color dots and you're off into the Hot Rod effect. With both pens, you could do the trick a second time. This trick comes with instructions that are ok. If you're not familiar with the Hot Rod, I'd suggest you get #4143 - HOT ROD - DVD Combo to learn the trick before you get the pen. It's worth it. It's a good trick. |
