Don't give them to children who are going to stick them in their mouth. Inflating balloons by mouth can hurt you. The back pressure can push parts of your body ways they weren't meant to go. The most common serious injury is getting snapped in the eye as you inflate the balloon by mouth. OSHA would make you wear safety glasses. Even silly looking glasses can be effective. |

We carry 5 brands of balloons. They are all hard to blow by mouth. Qualatex has set the standard in twister's balloons since the early 90's. They make the 160Q, the 260Q, the 350Q, 646Q, Hearts, Smiley Faces, Blossoms, Donuts, Q321B Bee Body, Round balloons and Imprinted balloons. Betallatex The Betallatex 260 has been around a couple of years now and have shown constant quality and strength. They feel kind of hard when inflated and are hard to mouth-inflate, 'specially the metallics and pearlized. And they don't taste all that good. Hard balloons twist easiest if you burp them before you tie the knot and mush them as you twist. There's not much squeaking as you twist these 260s. There are 44 single colors and 4 assortments to choose from . Give them a try. Fill out the Quality Response card that comes with every balloon order. Those cards are passed on to the manufacturer and Betallatex is eager to hear from you. Superior Balloon Co. is making the 315, 524 and Needle Thru balloons. These kind of balloons are generally used to twist stick figure type sculptures. They are large enough for stage work. There are also a number of magic boxes built around these size balloons. As to quality, they are medium. Tilly Balloons. They seem medium type quality also but they make odd sizes and they are less expensive. They make the Apples along with the 245T. Work these balloons soft. Let a little extra air out before you tie the knot and mush them as you twist. |

FRESH BALLOONSWe absolutely want to sell you the best quality balloons. We understand the frustration of working with a bad batch. All the balloons come direct to us from the manufacturers and we keep them air conditioned. Most of the stock is less than a month old. We only keep 2 weeks worth of assorted 260Q's in stock. As it turns out, life and manufacturing balloons are full of compromises. (Don't you just hate that?) Every batch of balloons is slightly different. The balloon companies know their sales are dependent on their quality and they are anxious to know of any problems. With every balloon order you will receive a Quality Control Card. Please fill it out and send it back. Written complaints can be copied, faxed, and passed around the board room. Phone calls don't carry the weight of a hand written complaint. Don't be shy. You will not hurt our feelings. Your responses are the only way the manufacturer knows how he is doing. We want to know what you like, what ticks you off (please keep comments restricted to balloon production) and what balloon qualities you most want. We welcome your comments anytime.
