Contests:

There will still be 2 categories for contests.
What you can make in "7 Minutes or Less" & Whatever you can "Get Through the Door".

There will be a "Best of City" contest with one winner for each category. Winners will be awarded a Certificate of Recognition for their efforts. Robbie Furman, Alberto Nava, and any other T Myers Magic representative will determine the winners.
All bribes must be received before the beginning of the second workshop. Acceptable bribes are: Food, Drink, Cash, Gems, Vacation Homes, Stocks and Bonds. Really (anything that can quickly be turned into cash and not have to be declared to the IRS.)
Please note: No bribe, however large or small, will have any effect on the outcome of our decision. We just like free stuff.

The "Best of Tour" contest will be decided based on the photos of the "Best Of City" winners only. They will be posted on the T. Myers Magic web site at the end of the tour then voted on by the general public. There will be three winners for each category. Winners will receive Prize Certificates good for merchandise and shipping cost from T. Myers Magic.

Prizes:

1st Place - $300 Prize Certificate

2nd Place - $150 Prize Certificate

3rd Place - $50 Prize Certificate

As well as international recognition on the T Myers Magic and Balloon HQ sites.
*Prizes to be used within a year of announcing the winners of the contests. All gift certificates are non-transferable and can only be redeemed through T Myers Magic Inc.

Rules:

The rules are simple:

All entries must be made 100% from Qualatex Balloons.
For the 7 Minute categories it's "Whatever You Can Make in 7 Minutes or Less." You must be timed at the tour stop by an official T Myers Magic Inc Representative. We will have a time slot for this contest. When the whistle blows, the contest is over. No pre-inflated balloons. You can lay them out and have them ready.
For "Whatever You Can Get through the Door," if you can get it through the door of the Jam venue, it will qualify. HOWEVER, IT CAN BE NO LARGER THAN 12' x 12' TO PRESERVE SPACE IN THE CONVENTION ROOM. It's your job to know how big the door is at the Jam venue. So watch the web and when the Jam venue in your area is confirmed, go to work and find out how big the door is. You can build your "Through The Door" sculpture anytime, anywhere.

NOTE: Be sure to have a descriptive name for your sculpture, this will be needed for the entry form.
