In 2010 T Myers Magic Inc is celebrating 25 years in this industry by bringing back this historic road tour!
Celebrate 25 years of Twisting with the
T Jam On The Road: LEGENDS tour!
The day will begin with a special 9am until 2:30pm DecoTwisting class taught by international instructor Robbie Furman.
This specialized class is targeted at Twisters to enhance their twisting skills with elements of decor so you can make finished pieces that are sellable.
The virtual store will open at 2pm. This is your opportunity to set up an online account so your ordering with us is easy every time AND all attendees will get FREE SHIPPING on items ordered at the event!
From 3-5pm, a hands-on workshop will be presented by one of our legendary guest instructors.
As part of your registration, you will receive, at the door, a balloon kit provided by Qualatex that will have everything you will need to make the figures in the class! A second and different class will be taught from 7-9pm with a balloon kit for that class included in as part of your participation! 9-11pm will be filled with jamming and contests!
In some stops we will have 2-day conventions with the same schedule both days but different classes taught both days! With these stops you will have two morning opportunities to learn from Robbie and immediately get higher fees with your twisted sculptures.
Cost?
To be part of the classes, jam, and contests from 3-11 pm is only $25.00 per day! Some food and snacks will even be provided as part of your participation.
To be a part of the morning class with Robbie Furman and learn his tried and true DecoTwisting secrets, including some brand new material, is only $75.00 per day!
To experience Robbie's DecoTwisting class and the afternoon classes, contests, and jam is $100.00 for the full day.
What Do I Bring?
While the balloons needed for the class will be provided by Qualatex, you will still want to bring balloons from home and a pump to inflate them!
Be ready to LEARN and be open to new concepts and sculptures that will easily make it into your working repertoire and push your ballooning to new levels of skill.
A camera! Make sure to get pictures of our teachers, your friends (both old and new), figures in the jam room, and your own new finished creations! Have a few you're especially proud of? Send them our way!
Money! We will have the ability to take credit cards, cash, and checks. All guests will be bringing their most popular items to sell (DVD's, Books, Pumps etc.) and the virtual store will require a credit card.
Can Beginners Come?
Absolutely! We suggest that you have a basic knowledge of twisting for the classes, BUT you will still get more than your money’s worth if you have no prior knowledge of the art. Your best bet is to stay for the jam afterwards to hone your new skills with others that are working on the same things you are!
How can I learn more about this amAZING tour?
Go to our website www.TMyers.com often and follow us and the tour as it travels the country bringing the past, present, and future of our industry together in celebration of our 25 years in this great business.
Why a Virtual Store?
In 2005, when Stretch the Balloon Dude went on the road, gas averaged $1.90/ gallon. To bring the same rig in a 7000 lbs trailer to 40 cities across the country AND to ship our products to that store when items ran out, would cost tens of thousands of dollars that we do not want to pass on to you. Instead, we will have a virtual terminal to the web store set up that will allow you to quickly purchase any item we carry! Don't worry about us being out of stock of your favorite items; we will ship it to you for free just as if you picked it up at the tour. We will have samples of many items for you to play with at each stop, AND instructors will be selling their best material on site directly to you.
Where will the tour be near me?
Go to the T Jam 2010 Calendar for tour dates and locations!
Special thanks to our 2010 T Jam on the Road sponsors!
