Robbie has been twisting balloons for nearly 20 years. As a child, Robbie loved watching clowns twist balloons into fantastical shapes and dreamed of one day doing it himself. On July 2, 2002, that dream became reality and Balloons by Robbie was born.
Robbie got his start volunteering at many different non-profits and fundraising events; at each event he would twist the same eight characters he had learned from Balloon Magic, by Marvin Hardy. Twisting began as a hobby, but quickly developed into his passion. In 1998, Robbie had a calling to become a full-time volunteer, and dedicated a year and half of his life to a missionary work in San Diego. The following year he served with the Domestic Peace Corps. As a result of these experiences, he had a chance to try new things with his balloons and venture into the Deco-Twisting world.
Today, Robbie continues to perfect his art and is dreaming up new creations all the time. His work has been seen on: The View, All My Children, Good Morning America, Today Show and Live with Regis and Kelly. Robbie is a 1st place winner of a past T Jam on the Road and has been on the touring circuit for the last 2 years spreading his unique creations and excellent teaching style with thousands worldwide.
