Close window when finished viewing Two Minute ContestI expect most twisters make most of their twisting income from figures they can make in 2 minutes or less. If that's true, this contest should be the "most useful" event at TJam01. The 2 Minute Contest is an opportunity for every twister to show what works for them in their world. There are 2 categories, each with 7 sub categories. Each sub category winner gets a $50 prize certificate
The Rules One person on stage at a time. You have to stop when your 2 minutes are up. Only one turn per twister. If it is over early, everyone may get another turn. It would be a good idea to have two spots prepared. It would be a good idea to practice and time what you plan to do. You can bring anything but another person on stage. I'll nail a foam head to a tall stool to be a volunteer/model. The Pre Inflated Category means just that. You can have your thing totally or partly made. Bringing an inflated balloon on stage puts you in the Pre Inflated Category. The audience will vote by ballot. Winners will be announced at the Saturday Banquet. Fancy Figure ContestThe categories are only limited by size. Jim made boxes to check small and medium sizes.
The Rules One person can enter one item in each category. You can enter one category or all three. If your entry has more than one piece, the parts must be connected. Glue them to cardboard or tie them together with thread, whatever you want. This will make judging easier and keep small pieces from blowing down the hall. You can't vote for yourself. Voting Everyone that enters the contest will get to vote on the Best of Small, Medium, and Large. We will total the votes to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of each category and Top Twister. Prizes The plaque for Top Twister will go to the top money winner of the Fancy Figure Contest
