| David Bartlett has been "Mr. Rainbow" for over
20 years, or it may be possible that "Mr. Rainbow" posed as David Bartlett
all that time. Either way, the result has been the same.
Well known in the clowning community for his comedy performances
and his columns in the trade magazines, David is also a balloon sculptor
of international renown. He has been featured three times at the Millennium
Jam in Mol Belgium. He has 13 balloon instructional videos (as well as other
comedy routines) that are available through the T. Myers catalog. If
you've ever seen one of his videos, you know that you get more than just
quality balloon instruction. Some people say that they occasionally watch
the videos just because they are funny...honest! Its a crazy world out there,
made all the crazier because of "Mr. Rainbow."
David's scheduled lectures are
1) Balloons I Made Up (with occasional musical-comedy interludes)
...featuring selections to be announced during the class from requests,
dart selection, or random brain impulses. I only use one size balloon
(260-Q)...ever!
Emphasis is on balloons you can use on a regular basis. I also love
to show variations on a theme and multi-level choices using different numbers
of balloons. Songs and comedy bits also presented at random. Sometimes referred
to Balloons and Tunes and the Art of the Buffoon.
2) Balloons I Made Up But Didn't Cover In The First Class (with occasional
musical-comedy interludes that weren't done in the first class either.)
...self-explanatory to most people, but confusing to some (and you
know who you are!)
