SHOPPING CART INFORMATIONPlease ReadThe Cart | Check Out | Cart UpDate 7/23/01 If you haven't already browsed the catalog and seen our shopping cart, you are about to. This page is to give you information about the shopping cart and how it works. The Cart
The cart is best used in Netscape 4.7 or newer but can be used with
any 3.0 or newer browser. The first thing you will notice is that when you add an item to the cart the cart does not appear. You will have to push the "View Cart" button. This will speed up the ordering process by not having to browse back to where to you came from. In older browers, the first time you push the "view cart" button the cart will appear showing what you have purchased. The second time you push the "view cart" button the cart will appear but you will need to "reload" or "refresh" the cart page in order to see what you have added. When you push the "Add to Cart" button the default is set to add 1 of that item to the cart. So you don't need to put in a "Quantity" if you only need 1 of that item. Don't worry if you accidentally hit the button. You can change the quantity of an item at the cart and recalculate. The cart will calculate your total. It will show and subtract out the "Balloon Volume Discount". It will give you the discount price on Single Discount items such as Big Tattoos. It will NOT give a discount on Group Discount items such as TC Stickers. These discounts will be applied by the office and show up on the confirmation of your order. A Group Discount item like the TC Stickers are a group of items that you can combine to get a volume discount. The cart can only do one group discount and for us that will be the "Balloon Volume Discount". I am told they are working on this. On a number of pages you will see" *Required to make choice". This indicates there are items on the page that you will need to make a choice about either size or color. If you want one of these items and do not make a choice you will see an error message. Click the Go Back link and choose the size or color you want and push the "Add To Cart" button again. Check OutYou can check out at anytime by pushing the "View Cart" button. Check out is at the bottom of the cart page. You will need to scroll down to it. Fill out all the information requested. Required information is in red. You can choose to have a copy of your order Emailed to you. If you live in Texas click the sales tax box and sales tax will be figured. You will be asked for you shipping choice. If you live in the US you can choose UPS Ground, 3Day, 2Day, 1Day or Priority Mail. International orders will have the choice of Surface (4 -10 weeks), Expedited (5 - 7 Days), Express (2-3 Days). Please see Order Information to learn more about shipping options and cost. You will have a choice of payment methods including a secure server to send your credit card number. You will also have an area to send questions and comments about you order. NOTICE: ALL COST, PRODUCT, TAXES AND SHIPPING ARE APPROXIMATE. We will Email you with the final totals. Because we want to give you the lowest possible shipping cost we need to figure the shipping in house. The Cart does not have enough options to provide you with the exact shipping cost. Cart UpDate 7/23/01The shopping cart now reflects Point to Point UPS Shipping cost for customers in the continental US only. What that means is the shipping cost you see for your order is the UPS published rate to ship from here at T. Myers to you at your zip code. It still will not be the exact shipping cost due to varying packaged weights but it will be much closer to the actual cost then what you have been seeing. A friendly reminder. Please be sure that your addressing is correct for the shipping service chosen. In the "Bought By" section of check out, that address should be your mailing address, the address that your credit card is billed to. If this address is different than the address needed for the shipping service you have chosen then you need to fill out the "Deliver To" addressing. Remember - UPS needs a physical address and the Post Office -USPS- just needs an address that they can deliver to. Real Time Credit Card AuthorizationRecently we have added real time credit card authorization through VeriSign to the check out process of the shopping cart. This saves us time processing your order. It should also eliminate delays in getting your order shipped due to incorrect credit card numbers, expiration dates and or billing addresses. Because we want to give you the lowest possible shipping cost we need to figure the shipping in house. The shipping shown for your order is slightly higher then the actual cost. We will make an adjustment to the amount of monies charged to your card to reflect the lowest possible shipping cost. Our basic shipping cost is for the weight of the package to the destination + $1.00 for handling. There may be an occasion for us to call you and request more money for shipping. This would be for orders requesting air shipping when the package falls into the dreaded "Dimensional Weight" . Dimensional weight is based on the size volume of the package rather than the actual weight. For instance, if you order a PumpO the actual shipping weight is 8lbs. But if you want that package shipped UPS 2nd Day, because of the size of the box the PumpO is shipped at a Dimensional weight of 14 lbs. |
